Laven's Monuments is a full-service monument company. Not only do we create beautiful memorials, but we can also duplicate existing grave markers, repair headstones, straighten tipped headstones, or reset headstones on a new foundation.

We create customized, scale drawings for each monument. You'll be able to visualize the end product and make any necessary changes before your monument is created.

We offer a wide variety of public and private options in a range of sizes and function from urns, benches, monuments and markers to columbarium and mausoleums customized honor your loved one.

Design Options

We have over 100 granite colors to choose from, along with a wide variety of design options. This gives an unlimited number of combinations so you can create the perfect customized monument.

On Site

Laven's Monuments also offers on-site cemetery lettering. We can add dates, epitaphs, or other lettering to existing monuments.

For the past 40 years, Laven’s Monuments has been serving customers throughout Iowa with all their monument needs. Bill and Leigh Laven own and operate Laven’s Monuments, making it a truly family-owned company. 

We take pride in creating unique, custom-made monuments to help our customers honor and remember their cherished loved ones. Our monuments are designed to be long-lasting memorials to honor the memory of those who have gone before. 

Laven's Monuments has office displays in Storm Lake and Humboldt, Iowa where you can view each type of memorial in person before you make your final decision. Our representatives will help you select the most fitting memorial for your needs, and are with you throughout the design process all the way to the final product.

"I have been late in expressing to you our appreciation for your able professional help in selecting a monument to be placed at our father's gravesite at the Lonetree Cemetery in Sioux Rapids.  Amazing what can be accomplished today via electronics!  (Although many days I wish for the return to the old days.) 

All the decisions were made but I used the pretense to drive to Spencer to look at monuments there with my brother and wife as a way to get them to their surprise 50th Anniversary.  I did a great job!
